Super Eagles captain, John Obi Mikeltook to twitter to show how proud he was to be nominated for the CAF prestigious award alongside deputy captain, Ahmed Musa and Nigeris new sensation Kelechi Iheneacho.
The Confederation of African Football during the weekend released a 30 man list for this year award.
The 29 year old Nigerian/Chelsea FC midfielder, captained Nigeria in the last Olympic games, which Nigeria won Bronze medal.
Others to be nominated for the award include, Riyad Mahrez of Leicester City and Algeria, Pierre Emerick Aubemeyang og Gabon and Borussia Dortmund who is the current holder and favorite to retain the award.
