Barcelona pair, Gerard Pique and Jordi Alba are set to be out for three and two weeks respectively due to injury they picked during their Champions league win against Manchester City.
The club confirmed the injury woes in aw statement after the duo underwent medical test on Thursday which reads,
“Pique has been diagnosed with sprained ligaments in his right ankle and is expected to be out for around three weeks,”
“Meanwhile, Jordi Alba has an elongation in the femoral biceps of the left leg, and the approximate time on the sidelines will be two weeks.”
Barcelona won the game 4-0 last night regardless their injury woes.
